Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at our Woodburn, OR location. As a Pendleton Ambassador, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth through product knowledge and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Drive sales growth through product knowledge, sales skills, and effective communication with customers.
  • Maintain store housekeeping and product merchandising standards, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Monitor store email and respond to business-critical directives in a timely manner.
  • Encourage positive selling and customer service behaviors among team members.
  • Communicate effectively with store team members, management, and customers through written and verbal communication.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including sales and customer service standards.
  • Complete sales transactions efficiently and effectively, ensuring accurate processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate store issues in a timely manner, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and sales-driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, supporting colleagues and management to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze situations and develop solutions.
  • Computer/POS systems and software skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize systems effectively.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends, as required.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with store employees, management, and customers, maintaining a calm and poised demeanor in stressful situations.
  • Partner with store management to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year retail sales or customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
  • Microsoft Office email and retail inventory software skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize systems effectively.
  • Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores, with the ability to navigate and utilize systems effectively.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
  • Flexible schedule with nights, holidays, and weekend shifts, as required.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and/or store set up.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs, with the ability to reach arms over head and use ladders as required.
  • Continuous standing and walking, with the ability to use a computer and telephone as required.
