About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Part-time Sales Associate to join our team at our Woodburn, OR location. As a Pendleton Ambassador, you will play a key role in connecting customers with our high-quality products and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and profitability through product knowledge, exceptional customer service, and sales techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards.
  • Monitor store email and respond to business-critical directives in a timely manner.
  • Encourage positive selling and customer service behaviors among team members.
  • Communicate effectively with store team members, management, and customers.
  • Complete sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Escalate store issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated and sales-driven individual with a passion for customer service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and poised demeanor in stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience.
  • Microsoft Office email and retail inventory software skills.
  • Understanding of POS systems and other software used by the stores.
Physical Demands and Working Environment
  • Flexible schedule with nights, holidays, and weekend shifts.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and/or store set up.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
