Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will deliver patient-centered rehabilitation nursing services to individuals with a disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function.

The LPN must be compassionate towards patients and family members, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, and work in a team of various medical professionals. You will assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, provide a therapeutic environment for client's and their family's development, and design and implement treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care.

Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing required
  • New graduates considered based on student clinical experiences
  • Active LPN license in the District of Columbia and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required
