**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Verdantas, a leading engineering and architectural consulting firm. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, including new buildings, existing building renovations, and upgrades. You will work closely with other engineering trades to ensure comprehensive electrical designs.

**Responsibilities:**

* Participate in the preparation of bid documents for electrical projects
* Utilize AutoCAD to create electrical construction drawings
* Coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure complete and comprehensive electrical designs
* Perform site visits to investigate and record existing conditions
* Analyze electrical loads to size electrical services, feeders, and branch circuits
* Review project instrumentation, control, and remote monitoring requirements
* Work towards meeting project schedules and budgets
* Provide data for cost estimating and secure preliminary equipment costs
* Investigate new methods and implement new ideas and procedures
* Perform independent studies and prepare reports of results and conclusions

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
* Professional Engineer License required
* 8-12 years of relevant work experience
* Working knowledge of the NEC required
* Ability to work in a team environment
