Job Summary

Vision House is seeking two experienced Lead Childcare Teachers to join our team at our brand new childcare center in Shoreline, WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate positive relationships with children and families.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive early childhood curriculum.
  • Assess the developmental needs of individual children and make recommendations for referrals.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff.
  • Perform administrative tasks and maintain records.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in child care.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Initial Certificate or equivalent.
  • Progress towards an ECE Short Certificate within 2 years.
  • Proven ability in early childhood curriculum development and implementation.
  • Christian faith and ability to sign our Statement of Faith.
  • Proof of physical exam and negative TB test.
  • First Aid/CPR card and Food Handlers Permit within 90 days.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs.
Benefits
  • $17 - $19 per hour, DOE, Non-Exempt.
