Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team at St. Anne Hospital for a travel contract. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with various types of cancer, including Head and Neck, Breast, Lung, Prostate, and colon cancer.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of treatments.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
  • Active RTT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
  • RT certification from the Washington State Department of Health and a valid Washington state license.
  • At least 2 years of experience in radiation therapy, with a strong background in patient care and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays.

Unit Specific Information
  • Scrub color/dress code: any solid color scrubs.
  • Unit/department specific orientation: Radiation Oncology.
Additional Details
  • BLS is not required.
  • Certified Radiation Therapist - ARRT (T).
  • Medical Solutions will deduct the 1.75% WA state tax, and you will be able to re-add it back in.
  • Provide a Radiation Badge.
