  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical publications effectively.
  • Demonstrate skill in using various hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Overhaul and repair generators and uninterruptible power systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Address complex troubleshooting scenarios related to electrical power generation.
  • Obtain necessary security clearances and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a driver's license.
  • Completion of OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training and CPR/First Aid certification.
  • U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Capability to work independently and respond to service requests promptly.
  • Willingness to operate vehicles up to 2.5 tons.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Potential for emergency overtime as required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

This position involves physical activities such as bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. The work may be performed in various environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings, exposing the technician to temperature fluctuations, noise, and other elements. Safety protocols must be followed diligently to mitigate risks associated with the job.
