Job Description:

As a Psychiatrist at Optum Behavioral Care in North Wales, PA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Our ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist with experience in treating mental health conditions in an outpatient setting. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as prescribing medications and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

We offer a competitive salary of $250,000 per year, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical services to patients
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Foster excellent provider-patient relationships

Requirements:

  • Clear and active Psychiatrist License (MD/DO)
  • Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in state of practice
  • Obtain the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration
