Position Overview

Title: Recovery Partnership Navigator (Central Region)

This role focuses on the coordination of programs and participants across various counties, ensuring effective service delivery and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Coordination:

  • Promptly communicate any issues to the Division Director.
  • Assist in the execution of all program activities.
  • Establish and maintain community partnerships.
  • Facilitate connections between local treatment providers and Recovery Management Center (RMC) staff.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with statewide recovery organizations.
  • Support the recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers.
  • Provide the Division Director with necessary data and reports for program assessment.
  • Keep the program schedule updated and inform participants of any modifications.

Community Engagement:

  • Help coordinate NJ-CARS meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Assist in organizing community outreach initiatives.
  • Promote RMC services to regional treatment providers and stakeholders.
  • Create a resource map for the regional recovery community.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in social work, human services, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals facing substance use disorders (SUD).

Certifications: NJ Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) is preferred.

Skills and Attributes:

Candidates should possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and personal attributes to effectively perform the duties outlined above. Bilingual abilities are preferred. Strong writing and computer proficiency are essential.

Travel Requirements:

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, as the position involves regional travel. All travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Availability:

Evening and weekend availability is necessary for this role.
