At RPh on the Go, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at a Level 1 Trauma Center. This dynamic role focuses on optimizing safe and effective drug therapy while contributing to clinical innovation, mentoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

About the Role
  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for trauma patients and other specialized populations.
  • Participate in inter-disciplinary rounds, providing consultative input on drug therapy.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy, with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and a New York State Pharmacy License. Additionally, they should possess postgraduate year-1 (PGY-1) and postgraduate year-2 (PGY-2) residency training in a specialty area or equivalent clinical experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage clinical pharmacy programs, monitor patient progress, and recommend therapy adjustments.
  • Deliver patient education, discharge counseling, and supervise drug distribution as required.
  • Contribute to developing guidelines, critical pathways, and disease management programs.
  • Mentor pharmacy colleagues and foster professional growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Licensure: New York State Pharmacy License.
  • Experience:
  • Postgraduate Year-1 (PGY-1) and Postgraduate Year-2 (PGY-2) residency training in a specialty area or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Certifications: Must be board certified in a relevant specialty area within 2 years of hire.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
