Production Supervisor

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team on a night shift schedule. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of around 40 workers.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement a timely people development plan to ensure team proficiency and exceed job requirements
- Maintain a secure work environment, meeting quality goals and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
- Mentor employees for job success and surpassing expectations
- Enforce quality controls, immediate corrective actions, and compliance with regulations
- Manage employee relations, skill distribution, new product launches, and effective maintenance to optimize operations
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 2 years of leadership experience or 5 years of supervisory/management experience
- Willing to work in a factory where ambient conditions may be very cold, wet, or warm
- Background in food processing, packaging, or manufacturing industries
- Proficient in Quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) within food processing
- Continuous Improvement, preferably Lean manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) setting
- You ensure a safe environment with effective housekeeping and safety practices
- You communicate adeptly, adjusting style for different audiences, facilitating group coaching, and addressing noncompliance with soft skills
- You foster positivity, empowerment, and mentorship for personal development
- You exhibit confidence, adaptability, strong mechanical aptitude, and adept problem-solving through root cause analysis
