About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at WellNow Urgent Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiological procedures and conducting x-rays with precision and care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares patients for radiological procedures and conducts x-rays following established protocols for patient safety and care
  • Ensures radiology equipment is functioning properly and reports any malfunctions to the department head
  • Logs radiologic procedures and obtains pre-authorization from insurance companies for CT scans
  • Clarifies discrepancy radiology readings with medical providers and ensures all radiographs achieve a radiographic interpretation by our teleradiology company
  • Greets, registers patients, and performs front desk duties, including answering phone calls and triaging patient inquiries
  • Cleans and stocks the site with other team members
Requirements
  • Active ARRT certification and registration
  • Applicable state licensure (as required by state)
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to apply written instructions and standardized work practices
  • Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for up to 10-12 hours daily
