Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse II to join our team at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and collaborate with case managers, social workers, pharmacists, and therapists to develop individual patient care plans. You will also supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters, ensuring that care is delivered according to the age-specific needs of the population served. We are looking for a nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and has strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with our team.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Correlating patient history and support systems within hospital care/nursing home care.
  • Assessing learning needs of patient and family.
  • Developing and initiating plan of care, involving patient and family.
  • Recommending interventions.
  • Evaluating plan of care.
  • Resolving problems regarding moderately complex issues without oversight or supervision.
We offer a competitive salary of $65,500 per year, based on national averages for a Clinical Nurse II in the Knoxville area. This position also comes with excellent benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
