Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Aerotek. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. You will also fabricate and modify parts to repair machine tools. You will be expected to assist with tasks in the machine shop and production areas as needed. You will be performing machining work according to required drawings or supervisor's instructions, and will be in charge of maintenance and machine fabrication, supervising the quality of the job. You will also work closely with our engineering team to develop machining processes for different jobs. We expect you to be responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the machine shop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC mills or lathes to produce precision parts
• Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand machining requirements
• Perform product inspections to ensure quality

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Quality control and problem-solving skills
