Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machinery, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, including milling and additive manufacturing equipment
  • Set up and preset tools, ensuring accurate and efficient production
  • Inspect and test work pieces throughout the production run, utilizing manual and automated inspection equipment
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Work as part of a team to improve manufacturing processes through Kaizen and quality control initiatives
  • Meet daily production objectives and on-time delivery, managing time effectively to keep machines operating at capacity
  • Maintain safety policies and procedures, including 5S initiatives and housekeeping, identifying and correcting safety hazards in the workplace
Requirements
  • 1+ years of CNC experience, with knowledge of milling and additive manufacturing processes
  • Basic blueprint reading and in-process inspection skills
  • Certificate courses on CNC programming and/or CAD/CAM preferred
  • Moderate knowledge of PC standard software (MS Office, Internet) required
  • Basic CNC programming code knowledge preferred
  • Basic knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines
  • Knowledge and understanding of Quality Management System and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Knowledge of safety and hazardous material regulations - OSHA General Industry Regulation
