Job Purpose

We are seeking a bilingual case manager to join our Client Services Team. This position serves as an advocate for victims of sexual assault, navigating them through the criminal justice, medical, and social service communities, with a particular emphasis on Latinx and Spanish-speaking communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive client needs assessments to create effective trauma-informed case management plans.
  • Provide individual crisis stabilization, immediate support, information, and referrals.
  • Maintain regular contact with caseload, remaining organized and diligent around client needs and follow-up contact.
  • Possess or develop a clear understanding of various reporting, legal, medical, and application processes, communicating this information to clients in a clear, effective manner.
  • Meet or accompany victims to police departments, court proceedings, local Family Justice Centers, and other community resource centers.
Requirements
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are required.
  • Experience in crisis response, case management, and/or victim advocacy is essential.
  • Educational and professional experience in human services, social work, advocacy, psychology, counseling, sociology, or related fields is preferred.
  • Understanding and values equity as an organizational operating principle and is committed to continued learning on issues related to justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Professional and/or lived experience with cultural influences on behavior in multicultural communities is required.
Benefits

The Blue Bench offers a comprehensive benefit package, including a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $48,000, paid vacation and sick/wellness time, and paid holiday leave.
