About the Role

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Cable Harness Design Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing electrical harnesses for our spacecraft and launch vehicles. Your expertise will help ensure the safe and reliable operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical harnesses for power distribution, RF, communication, and high-speed data signals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate harnesses into spacecraft and launch vehicle systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies and processes to improve harness design and manufacturing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design and development, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, RF, and communication
  • Experience with CAD software, such as Creo and Windchill
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
