Anaheim, California, United States Medix™ Full time

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Overview:

We are looking for a proficient and adaptable Radiologic Technologist to become a part of our team at Medix™. In this position, you will collaborate with two physicians, each bringing their distinct approach—one being more contemporary and easygoing, while the other is more experienced with elevated expectations. Your main duties will encompass executing Fluoroscopic (Fluoro) procedures, assisting in various low-impact interventions, and offering support to patients undergoing awake procedures. If you are meticulous, meet the necessary qualifications, and are enthusiastic about working in a demanding yet fulfilling environment, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Procedures:
  • Carry out all Fluoroscopic procedures, supporting physicians during low-impact interventions.
  • Manage approximately 3 patients per hour, with a goal to meet the seasoned physician's expectation of 4 patients per hour.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure the effective completion of procedures, including spinal implants.

Daily Operations:

  • Prepare for patient appointments starting early in the morning, with patients scheduled to arrive promptly.
  • Handle approximately 24-28 patients on a daily basis.
  • Administer Fluoro injections to assist physicians in pinpointing procedure locations.
  • Participate in various procedures, such as PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) injections, SES (Spinal Electrical Stimulation) Trials, and Spinal Cord Implants.

Collaboration and Assistance:

  • Assist in preparing trays, especially during downtime, to support Medical Assistants (MA).
  • Work effectively with diverse personalities, adapting to the preferences of both physicians.
  • Provide support to the MA and other team members as required.

Training and Growth:

  • Receive training from the current Radiologic Technologist who is transitioning out of the role.
  • Explore opportunities for professional development within the role and create your own career path.

Selling Points:

  • Engage with high-level physicians in a challenging and rewarding environment.
  • Opportunity to evolve within the role and tailor it according to your strengths and interests.

Must Have Skills/Qualifications:

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Fluoroscopy certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (preferred)
  • Detail-oriented and diligent.

If you are a driven Radiologic Technologist seeking a unique opportunity to work alongside distinguished physicians and contribute to a progressive surgical center, we invite you to explore this position.
