Job Overview

At American Family Care Anaheim, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases through the performance of radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Process images, review them for proper identification and quality control, and prepare them for reading by a physician or radiologist.
  • Utilize both digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, adhering to approved radiology techniques and all policies and procedures.
  • Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
  • Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed.
  • Serve as a Medical Receptionist and/or Medical Assistant when needed, within appropriate guidelines.
Requirements
  • Limited X-Ray Tech certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
