About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Family Health West. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Supervise and direct physical therapy assistants, students, and rehab aides, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting maximum benefit from therapy and fostering a positive patient experience.
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, adhering to organizational and clinical standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in pediatric physical therapy.
Requirements
  • Current State of Colorado Physical Therapy license in good standing.
  • Master's degree (M.A.) or Doctoral degree (D.P.T.) from an accredited college or university with a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
  • 1-3 years' experience in pediatric physical therapy, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Current BLS certification.
