Job Title: CT Technologist

Join Radiology Imaging Associates as a CT Technologist and be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures, escorting patients to treatment rooms, and assisting with dressings as necessary. You will also be responsible for completing all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services, explaining procedures to patients, and practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness
  • Escort patients to treatment rooms and assist with dressings as necessary
  • Complete all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services
  • Explain CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
  • Complete related paperwork and obtain interpretation by the radiologist
  • Conduct quality control measures to monitor machine performance and report all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager
  • Focus on customer service and use courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere
  • Respond to medical emergencies, including administering CPR
  • Assist patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls
Requirements:
  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Must maintain and meet continuing education requirements as set forth by the ARRT
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • Experience in CT preferred
  • Competency in MRI preferred
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Exceptional patient skills and customer service required
Compensation:

Compensation for this role is between $35 and $51.00 per hour. In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates' reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Part-time employees may have access to some of these benefits, which may be on a pro-rated basis. Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
