Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Thom Child and Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's developmental status and create individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct services and activities tailored to the needs of children 0-3 years old and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
  • Document progress, complete reports, and maintain accurate records.
  • Act as a service coordinator for families, scheduling and implementing intervention plans.
  • Provide supportive professional assistance to families and facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child development.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families is preferred.
  • Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
  • Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services.
