Loss Prevention Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
- Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to prevent and respond to incidents
- Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Respond to accidents and incidents, and provide first aid and CPR as needed
- Assist guests and employees during emergency situations
- Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents
- Defuse guest and employee disturbances and call for outside assistance if necessary
- Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents
- Handle all interruptions and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Resolve safety hazard situations and escort unwelcome persons from the property
- Report to scenes of vehicle accidents and thefts and call for assistance as needed
- Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
- Maintain confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence
- Conduct interviews with relevant parties
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
