• Own preventative maintenance and calibrate systems to guarantee optimum performance during downtime.

• Assist the team in various ways, including cross-training to perform in other operator roles and providing high-touch AV support in conference rooms.

• Keep documents updated, including line drawings, SOPs, and service agreements, and assist with system design and specification of gear for various projects.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a video engineer in production environments, such as studios, networks, broadcast trucks, and live events.

• Additional experience as a technical director, camera operator, or audio engineer.

• Expertise operating LED walls, image processors, and other technology to showcase content in various viewing environments.

• Background in system design, with the ability to create CAD plans and documentation.

• Strong vendor management and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a playback operator, editor, audio engineer, or lighting technician.

• Superior communication skills, with the ability to summarize and share relevant information in a clear and easy-to-understand way, across all levels.

• Highly proficient in identifying and resolving operational errors, with strong experience in signal routing, monitoring, and quality assurance.
