Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safety for patients and staff.
  • Produce high-quality images in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare patients for exams, providing clear instructions and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
  • Assist patients during exams, positioning them correctly and observing their condition.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff to facilitate patient care.
  • Perform IV starts and contrast administration as required.
  • Maintain technical operation of equipment, reporting issues to management and logging service calls.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital and departmental standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to ACR accreditation and maintaining compliance with regulations.
  • Demonstrate effective time management, prioritizing workload and meeting productivity requirements.

Requirements:

  • CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • State License-Radiology Technologist-Kansas.
  • Ability to lift 50-100lbs.
