Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patient needs related to speech and language disorders, as well as cognitive and swallowing difficulties.
  • Deliver therapy services in accordance with state regulations and the established care plan, collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to evaluate patient functionality and assist in developing tailored therapy plans.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to help patients articulate their thoughts, considering their individual conditions.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on speech therapy techniques and interventions they can support.


Licensure Requirements:

  • Current licensure in Speech Therapy as mandated by state regulations.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, along with reliable transportation options.
