About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion and care.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and perform other procedures as needed.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments to ensure optimal results.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions and turn over rooms using aseptic technique.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Prefer a graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
  • BCLS required within 30 days of hire.
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
