Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an ambulatory care setting. The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, education, and reinforcement of care plans under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in data collection and provide clinical support to licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
  • Organize and prioritize nursing care activities considering the needs of patients and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide ongoing education and reinforcement of care plans developed by the provider/RN.
  • Assume responsibility for professional development of self and contribute to the professional development of others.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
  • Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
Working Conditions

The job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent travel, and bending/stooping. The candidate must be proficient in communicative, auditory, and visual skills, with attention to detail and ability to write legibly. The position may involve exposure to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
