Senior Financial Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Leader to join our team at Warner Music Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our WMX division and driving business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide financial leadership and guidance to the President of WMX on budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, and securing new funding for programs.
- Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the divisional P&L and balance sheet, including reporting in 5 countries and 4 currencies.
- Support $175m+ Artist Services revenue and associated costs across US and Europe, as well as media businesses generating $50m revenue annually.
- Develop and implement financial analysis and consultation to drive business growth and performance.
- Partner with individual teams within WMX, labels, business development, and corporate to build and oversee business processes that streamline dataflow for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements through best practice replication, creative and innovative solutions, and alignment of goals and objectives.
- Manage financial controls and risk management procedures.
- Update other department heads on the financial performance for the company and key finance initiatives.
- Review and recommend improvements to finance and IT-related procedures, processes, and administration.
- Train and develop the WMX Finance staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with contacts at the highest levels of the organization.
- Proven business process improvement skills and excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient knowledge of GAAP and related financial reporting requirements and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to build alignment for initiatives and programs.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, from an accredited college or university preferred.
- 10+ years of senior-level financial experience and management experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
