Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Formulations Specialist to join our R&D team at RAMPF Group Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative chemical formulations to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop polyurethane and epoxy formulations to meet specific performance requirements
  • Research and testing of new raw materials to improve existing products
  • Utilize expertise in polyurethane and epoxy chemistry to troubleshoot formulation issues
  • Testing of physical and mechanical properties, creating test methods for special applications
  • Creating lab reports and other necessary documentation
  • Technical support for customer complaints and technical inquiries
  • Technical support for scale up, production, sales, and engineering teams
  • Preparation of customer samples and supporting the R&D and QC teams
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of polyurethane and epoxy chemistry
  • Experience with mechanical and physical testing
  • Dispersion and 2K dosing process expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in research and development of polyurethane and/or epoxy formulations
Work Environment
  • Chemical development laboratory environment
  • Exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials
