Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine, Department of Neurology, is seeking a highly skilled neurologist with a focus on neuromuscular diseases to join our dynamic faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Outpatient Care: Provide high-level, expert care to patients with neuromuscular diseases.
  • Inpatient Consult Coverage: Offer consultative services to inpatients with neuromuscular conditions.
  • Clinical Education: Teach and mentor medical students and residents in the field of neuromuscular diseases.
  • Research and Development: Develop and conduct clinical or scientific research in neuromuscular diseases, with a focus on publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements
  • Education: M.D. or equivalent degree, with licensure to practice medicine in Arkansas or eligibility for licensure.
  • Training: Completion of an accredited neurological training program and a neuromuscular fellowship.
  • Certification: Board eligibility in neurology.
