Responsibilities:

  • Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair robotic hydro blasting equipment
  • Operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair drive units, electronics motors, and hydraulic lines
  • Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation
  • Use blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment specifications and repair instructions
  • Identify parts needed for repair
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing alternatives and evaluating risks
  • Conduct instrument calibrations and carry out predictive maintenance activities
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Travel for work as needed
  • Operate forklifts
  • Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment necessary for maintenance tasks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year experience with industrial shop maintenance
  • High school or GED degree. Experience may be substituted for formal education
  • Experience in industrial shop maintenance
  • Strong maintenance skills
  • Hydro blast robot equipment knowledge and experience
  • Blast systems knowledge and experience
  • Experience in working on drive units, electronics motors, and hydraulics lines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid TX drivers license
