About the Role

Hometown America Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Carriage Mobile Estates in Orange, CA.

As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for ensuring the community's common buildings, common areas, and leased homes are well-maintained and presentable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the community's long-term viability.
  • Ensure the community adheres to our curb appeal standards and maintain a professional, courteous rapport with residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Communicate daily with the supervisor and collaborate as a team player to achieve customer expectations and ensure ongoing operations.
  • Follow safety procedures at all times, including safely operating equipment and vehicles when moving from site to site and picking up supplies.
Requirements
  • Previous experience and general knowledge of landscaping, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and hand tools preferred.
  • Ability to work in a variety of seasonal temperatures and take initiative to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or other times outside of normal business hours for emergency situations.
  • A current, valid driver's license from the state where the community is located is required before driving a company-owned vehicle or before driving a personal vehicle on company business.
