Key Responsibilities:

* Design attractive, standards-compliant, ADA-compliant, cross-browser compatible interfaces for web applications and sites based on best practices for mobile and web.
* Design graphics, logos, print materials, and marketing collateral.
* Collaborate with project managers, partners and other technical staff to understand user requirements to identify design solutions.
* Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
* Research, define, and maintain UI/UX best practices and standards, including browser compatibility standards, enterprise application templates, responsive design methods, and typography guidelines.
* Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve problems with digital government solutions and websites and assist in communicating with partners on procedures and standards.
* Provide level of effort and work estimates to contribute to project plan creation

Qualifications:

* Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
* Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
* Strong understanding of content management systems, especially WordPress.
* Strong knowledge of web standards and accessibility compliance.
* Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
* Knowledge of Google Analytics and data-driven design
* Excellent visual design skills.
