Senior Full Stack Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our team at Confluent. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in building a world-class online experience that fosters sophisticated consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with partner teams to deliver end-to-end experiences that exceed customer expectations
- Implement high-performing and reusable UI components that drive user engagement
- Build responsive web experiences that look great across multiple devices and browsers
- Create database schemas that support scalable and efficient data management
- Contribute to the development of a working backend or create one from scratch
- Utilize your knowledge of testing, security, and scalability to ensure the reliability and performance of our web backend
- Build and maintain backend software services that integrate with internally owned systems and third-party software
- Collaborate with peers to design, write, and document front-end codebase
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality code
- 5+ years of experience in a production environment creating scalable and responsive websites/applications using JavaScript, React, and CSS
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ownership mentality with a focus on delivering high-quality results and driving forward-looking technical roadmaps
- Strong proficiency in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of at least one backend language
- Strong understanding of database design and backend design patterns
- Ability to think critically and communicate effectively with the team
- Comfortable with reviewing PRs and providing constructive feedback
- Experience with Gatsby, GraphQL, and CSS preprocessors
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing libraries (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Jasmine, Puppeteer)
- Experience with A/B testing, tracking, and tools like Google Optimize, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment, Optimizely, etc.
- Knowledge of Figma and Zeplin
