Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to teach our students the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Instruct assigned courses within the Medical Assisting program, including online and live sessions via Zoom.
  • Student Support: Provide students with timely information and feedback on their academic progress, conduct outreach to increase engagement with at-risk students, and maintain accurate records of student performance.
  • Professional Development: Actively participate in meetings, training programs, and professional development to stay current with developments in the field of Medical Assisting.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required by the faculty job description, SOPs, and other university policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Allied Health or related field required; Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Allied Health Management, Public Health, Medical Science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of Medical Assisting experience; previous experience teaching online is preferred.
  • Certifications: CCMA, CMAA, CMA (AAMA), or RMA certification highly preferred.
