POSITION SUMMARY AND REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is seeking candidates for a non-tenure-track faculty role commencing in the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate education and engage in research activities. The candidate should be capable of instructing courses across both the Electrical and Computer Engineering curriculum, which focuses on theoretical frameworks and advanced concepts, as well as the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology curriculum, which prioritizes practical application and implementation. Teaching interests should align with one or more of the following domains: electronics, electric circuits, digital logic, embedded systems, microcontrollers, electronic measurement and instrumentation, and laboratory work in electrical and/or computer engineering. A Master's or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.
