Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician III to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will collaborate with other team members to provide optimal care to our patients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and providing care in accordance with our current policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where quality care meets quality service in every dimension, every time.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal care to patients
  • Manage and provide care in accordance with current policies and procedures
  • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred
  • Prior experience in a minimum of three pharmacy skills, including medication distribution, sterile compounding, and controlled substance accountability
  • Current registry with applicable State Board(s) of Pharmacy, required
  • PTCB or NHA Certification within 60 days of hire, required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Considerable knowledge of medication names, routes of administration, and adverse effects
  • Ability to demonstrate patient interview skills and strong written and verbal communication skills with other healthcare professionals
  • Experience with inventory management
