Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Willowood of North Adams Inc. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing top-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign checks, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Document patient care, including nursing interventions, patient responses, and progress toward goals.
  • Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
  • Collaborate with other nurses and healthcare professionals to promote patient well-being.
  • Teach patients and their families about health information and provide written materials as needed.
  • Administer medications according to policy and procedure.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
  • Perform administrative duties, including charting, reporting, and completing medical forms.

Requirements:

  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience in skilled nursing care, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
