Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise a team of warehouse associates to ensure the smooth operation of the distribution center.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and receipts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including DEA regulations.
  • Coach and develop employees to support their growth and development in their roles.
  • Oversee the receipt and processing of merchandise, including counting, weighing, and identifying items.
  • Manage the shipping process, including double-checking and shipping controlled substances.
  • Maintain accurate records of the delivery process, including time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials shipped.
  • Interact with customers to resolve delivery or order-filling issues.
  • Ensure the maintenance of highly detailed records documenting incoming and outgoing controlled substances.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, or computer sciences.
  • Minimum of two years of directly related and progressively responsible experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Good decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates.
  • Proficiency in operating a reach truck.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and on-call rotations, as needed.
