Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support services for students.
  • Assess student needs and develop strategies to address communication barriers.
  • Provide training and resources to staff on speech and language techniques.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Alabama teaching certificate or equivalent.
  • Have experience working with students with speech and language disorders.
  • Be certified in augmentative and alternative communication devices.

Compensation

  • $52,000 - $62,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
