We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CV/ICU) team at Havasu Regional Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, day shift position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, utilizing your expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, central line management, and ventilator management.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CV/ICU
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current state RN license and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school
- At least 1 year of ICU experience, preferably in a cardiovascular ICU setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months of hire
