Job Overview

Group W is a 100% employee-owned company that hires talented individuals to provide analysis, modeling, simulation, wargaming, and research services to visionary clients in government, commercial, and non-governmental entities.

We are seeking motivated and curious individuals to work on high-impact projects related to defense and military campaign analysis. This internship offers invaluable experience by working on next-generation solutions, cutting-edge analysis, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple stages of analysis, modeling, and data analysis projects
  • Interact with team members and supervisors to identify questions and issues
  • Support analysis by creating data pipelines and preparing data for integration into various analysis tools
  • Develop an understanding and awareness of best practices related to data, analysis, and mitigating risk in respective areas as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an applied science or quantitative related field
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and tools
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance

Preferred:

  • Coursework or projects that relate to requirement definition and problem solving
  • Passion for building tools that help people understand, analyze, and visualize complex data sets
  • Academic coursework, experience, or research with one or more of the following: Python, Java, R, SQL, PL/SQL, C++

Hourly Wage: $15 to $25 per hour (compensation depends on level of relevant experience).
