Responsibilities

The Medical Director/Clinical Physician will oversee all medical care and quality of services provided at the Clinic. This position will serve as a member of the Medical Management Staff, collaborating with the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the development of services and program plans.

The Medical Director will ensure consistent quality of care to patients of the clinic by overseeing the establishment of clinic quality goals, including the tracking and monitoring of these goals. The Medical Director/Clinical Physician will also provide delivery of medical services to patients of the clinic in a primary care and/or urgent care environment.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3-5 years work experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • A Doctorate Degree of Medicine or Osteopathic – MD or DO
  • A current California Medical License – MD or DO
  • Unrestricted Current DEA Registration
  • A current California Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Certificate of Registration
  • Status as a current medical staff member at Shasta Regional Medical Center or meet all credentialing requirements in order to obtain privileges
  • 2 years Medical Director experience preferred

Estimated Salary

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, based on location and industry standards, is $290,000 to $350,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering various factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
