Quality Control Information Systems Analyst

Position Overview:

As a Quality Control Information Systems (QCIS) Analyst, you will serve as the primary administrator for computerized systems, acting as a liaison between laboratory teams and IT for various enterprise initiatives, including Empower, Biovia Laboratory Execution Systems (LES), Labware, and other digital transformation projects. A solid technical foundation in Information and Enterprise systems is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and administration of laboratory and manufacturing quality control computerized systems.
  • Provide technical support to QC lab operations, addressing a range of technical challenges.
  • Engage in software and computer system validation, ensuring compliance with IT standards for software applications, while meeting all networking and security protocols.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for both new and existing local administrators, developing training materials as required.
  • Execute protocols, generate reports, and conduct investigations using Veeva on behalf of the Quality Control department.
  • Support the lifecycle management of QC information systems, overseeing activities from conception and development to validation, implementation, maintenance, and eventual retirement.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Technology or a related field in Biotechnology is preferred.
  • 0-3+ years of experience in information management is desirable.
  • Experience in a scientific laboratory environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Empower is preferred.

Compensation: $35 - $40/Hour
