Role Summary:
We are looking for a proactive Xactimate Estimator/Project Manager to enhance our operations. This hybrid position merges the tasks of crafting precise estimates using Xactimate, overseeing the entire restoration project lifecycle, and spearheading sales initiatives. The successful candidate will possess restoration industry experience, advanced Xactimate proficiency, and a strong sales background, with the capability to convert leads and manage projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Client Engagement:
    • Directly interact with prospective clients, including leads from digital platforms, aiming to secure sales.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to market restoration and reconstruction services to both residential and commercial clients.
    • Build and sustain robust client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Present detailed estimates and services to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring mutual understanding of project scope.
    • Communicate and negotiate effectively with insurance providers regarding claims.
  • Estimation and Scoping:
    • Employ Xactimate software to generate accurate and thorough estimates for restoration projects, encompassing water damage, mold remediation, and reconstruction.
    • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess damage and outline the scope of work.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive estimates to clients, insurance adjusters, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Project Oversight:
    • Manage all stages of assigned restoration projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and high-quality standards.
    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to execute projects effectively.
    • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any changes in project scope.
    • Monitor project timelines and adjust resources as necessary.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices, is completed accurately and promptly.
    • Comply with all industry regulations and company policies, ensuring adherence to safety standards and legal requirements.
    • Track and report on project financials, including job costing, budgeting, and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the restoration sector, focusing on project management, estimating, and sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales and cultivate client relationships.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate software is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and restoration methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, AMRT) are advantageous.
