About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Federal Solutions team, you will be responsible for providing instrumentation and controls for new and existing facilities for various client projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, procure, install, configure, and operate I&C equipment and devices.
  • Prepare and/or check specifications, location plans, equipment/instrument schedules, datasheets, and other drawings and documents required for design, procurement, and construction purposes.
  • Extract engineering information from CAD drawings.
  • Prepare engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
  • Coordinate activities and deliverables with group leads and other engineers within the I&C discipline on the project.
  • Program and configure controls system equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level engineers working on the same project.
  • Support the commissioning and installation of field equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/365 suite.
  • Partial WFH is acceptable, but proximity to and willingness to work from corporate (engineering) offices is required.
  • You must be a US Citizen, but no security clearance is required.
