Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including exercises, activities, and education to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience working in an orthopedic setting, preferably with patients with musculoskeletal injuries or conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation, and to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Work Environment

The Occupational Therapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, and to communicate effectively with patients and families.

The Occupational Therapist will be required to travel between multiple site locations, and to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

The Occupational Therapist will be expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to Resurgens Orthopaedics' policies and procedures regarding patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
