As an Occupational Therapist with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and make a meaningful impact on their educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Consultation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' skills and abilities, including oral motor, sensory, integration, motor planning, fine motor skills, developmental function, reflex, and range of motion.
  • Report Writing: Create detailed reports that describe the results of assessments and provide clear interpretations of the findings to parents and IEP teams.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Consult with students' families and staff on the implementation of educational programs that support the development of motor skills.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor students' progress and inform parents and teachers of any changes or developments.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in IEP meetings to develop and update short-term and long-term goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Illinois State Licensure: Must hold an active OT license in the State of Illinois.
  • Relevant Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a school setting.
