Concrete Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Project Manager to lead and oversee our concrete construction projects. As a Concrete Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of concrete projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Ensure that all project activities comply with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise project team members, including site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to the project team, ensuring effective communication and a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to assess progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Encourage professional development and training opportunities for team members.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and monitoring of expenses.
- Track project costs, analyze budget variances, and implement corrective measures, as necessary.
- Review and approve project invoices, change orders, and payment requests.
- Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare accurate and competitive bids for new projects.
- Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure that concrete construction meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular progress meetings and generate reports to keep stakeholders informed about project status, milestones, and any significant developments.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in concrete construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete construction techniques, materials, and processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and resource allocation.
- Understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and people skills.
- Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to pass a background check to drive a company vehicle.
- Travel required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Work primarily outdoors, occasionally indoors, in all types of weather conditions and environments.
- Demonstrate a full range of motion with neck, arms, shoulders, hands, torso, legs, and feet.
- Visual acuity: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Understanding of how to communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
